NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (n is an integer of 4-7; the position of the substituent group is at the p-, m- or o-position). EXAMPLE:p-Perfluorodecenyloxyisopropenylbenzene. USE:A raw material for polymerizable monomers and fluorine-containing compound derivatives. PREPARATION:Tetrafluoroethylene oligomer having a branched chain and inner unsaturated bond as a raw material is reacted in the presence of isopropylphenol and a tertiary amine at 0-150 deg.C to give a perfluoroalkenyl.isopropylphenyl ether, which is then dehydrogenated in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. iron oxide, etc., to afford the aimed compound expressed by the formula, etc.
