A damper regulates air feed to the primary combustion chamber (11). A second indicator (32) located in the area of highest temp. in the secondary combustion chamber controls a second damper which regulates air feed to that chamber (17), independently of the first damper, to maintain the chamber temp. within a predetermined range. Between the secondary combustion chamber and the boiler chimney connection (60) are smoke gas tubes (21), at least one of which has an adjustable damper. This prevents air supply via the fuel and ash hatches (14, 15). Inner and outer hatches (52, 48) are provided, of which the inner hatch is adjustably suspended in a central point of the inside of the outer hatch (48). |
