Device for damping mechanical vibrations of the rotating cylinders with gaps (3, 4), in particular of the plate and blanket cylinders of the offset machines, of the flexography machines and other machines such as letterpress printing machines, the said gap comprising a leading edge (26) and a trailing edge (28), comprising each one a means for damping of the mechanical vibrations (10, 12) disposed and fastened in at least one recess (18, 20) formed in the said edges, characterized in that the damping means is constituted by an insert exhibiting the shape of a lamellar part formed by the stacking of layers (30 to 37), adhering to each other, of suitable materials and the upper surface or layer (37) of which is ground to the exact sizes of the cylinders. |
