PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of dredging by enhancing the concentrating degree of sludge in the sludge hold by providing a pump for sucking up overflow water from the sludge hold and a transport pipe for the overflow water. CONSTITUTION:Mud water being dredged is sent from a drag head 3 to a drag arm 2, a dredging pump 4, a mud water discharge pipe 5, a trough 6, and a sludge hold 7 where sludge 9 is settled. Muddy water 10 separated from the sludge 9 is overflowed from a gate 11 for overflow water and sent to a duct 12 for overflow water, a pump 13 to deliver overflow water, and a pipe 14 to deliver overflow water. The muddy water is then sent to the head 3, the arm 2, the pump 4, the pipe 5, the trough 6, and the hold 7 in a circulating manner. Since the needs to discontinue dredging operations before mud water overlows can be eliminated, the efficiency of dredging can be enhanced. |
