PURPOSE:To accurately stick a precoating agent on a filter medium by providing the following vessel for housing the precoating agent to the inside of a dust- laden chamber wherein one part is opened and providing a nozzle for injecting high-pressure air toward the aperture part. CONSTITUTION:The filter mediums 5 such as a bag filter are provided to a partition plate 2 wherein a purifying chamber 3 and a dust-laden chamber 4 are comparted thereby. A vessel 6 housing a precoating agent is provided to the inside of the dust-laden chamber 4 and the precoating agent 7 such as calcium carbonate is housed therein. One part of the vessel 6 is opened and the nozzles 8 for injecting high-pressure air are provided toward the aperture part to the upper part of the aperture part. When a valve 9 is opened, high- pressure air is injected and the precoating agent 7 is blown up. Therefore the precoating agent 7 accompanied with the air stream of gas fed to the dust-laden chamber 4 through an inlet 11 can accurately be stuck on the surfaces of the filter mediums.
