PURPOSE:To attain an easy editing work for the spatial position of a graphic by reducing luminance and making the graphic on the second graphic memory (GM) different from the graphic on the first GM, and synthesizing and displaying the respective content of the first and the second GMs. CONSTITUTION:A control part 11, when an instruction is the forward movement instruction of a pointer, draws the graphic on the first GM14, and erases the graphic on the second GM15 by a command execution part 13. Meanwhile, when it is a backward movement instruction, the execution part 13 erases the graphic on the first GM14 and draws the graphic on the GM15. By performing a blinking on the graphic displayed for the GM15, or reducing the luminance with a graphic switch 16, the graphic on the GM15 is attached a feature different from the graphic on the GM14. Also, a graphic display part 17 has a function to synthesize and display the contents of the GM14 and the GM15. Therefore, a position as the time series data of the graphic to be edited can be grasped clearly.
