PURPOSE:To facilitate the preparation and the operation on the basis of a simple construction by setting the succeeding sheet roll alternately on front and rear support units for connecting the top of the sheet with the sheet drawn out from the preceding sheet roll. CONSTITUTION:Sheet rolls 17- I and 17-II are supported by support units 1a and 1b on upper and lower streams of the flow direction of a sheet at an interval ance. In the upper side between rolls 17- I and 17-II, a table and a reciprocating belt 3 are arranged and above the belt 3, a sheet guide device 6 is provided to be reciprocated in parallel. When a sheet of the roll 17- I stretched on the front support unit 1a is drawn out via the sheet guide device 6 moved to the front end side of the table, the succeeding roll 17-II is set on the rear support unit 1b to place the sheet on the belt 3 from the rear side, and the belt 3 is circularly driven at a fixed amount to be advanced. Then, the sheet of the roll 17-II is advanced in one body with the belt 3 and connected with the preceding sheet on the guide device 6 at its top. This construction permits to connect the belt easily. |
