PURPOSE:To prevent air circulating resistance and noise from increasing, by setting a partitioning plate, which partitions an air passage part and a refrigerating chamber, and providing a door in an air inlet part of the partitioning plate so that no cool air is circulated in the refrigerating chamber when it contains no material to be cooled. CONSTITUTION:A fan motor 7 attracts air to be inducted from a suction grille 10, and the air, after it successively passes through an air cleaner 5, suction duct 6 and an evaporator 8, is blown out into a car room from delivery grilles 9a, 9b. In the above constitution, a refrigerating chamber 1, divided into an air passage part 1a and a refrigerating chamber 1b by a partitioning plate 3, is set in the next stage to the fan motor 7 and the evaporator 8. And the refrigerating chamber, in which a turnable door 4 controlling a direction of the cool air is pivotally mounted to a side of the evaporator 8, that is, a cool air inlet side of the partitioning plate 3, enables said door 4 to be set in optional positions A-C. In this way, an increase of air circulating resistance can be prevented by setting the door 4 to the position B when no material 2 to be cooled is housed in the refrigerating chamber 1. |
