PURPOSE:To set an output line corresponding to each equipment and to perform debugging well by setting set contents at the output set time while watching display and controlling the output of a preliminarily set output at the program execution time. CONSTITUTION:An output setting device is provided with a display device 1 on which the set output state is displayed, a set key 2 for program setting, and a general input part 3. Further, the device is provided with a CPU 6, which controls the output signal to a general output line 5 in accordance with a program, and a RAM 7 and drives and controls a machine tool 8 or the like in accordance with the program stored in a ROM 4. At the output setting time,set contents of each output line are set to turning-on/off or ineffectiveness by the set key 2 while watching the display device 1. When a program is executed for debugging or the like, a turn-on output signal, a turn-off output signal, and a program execution signal stored in the ROM 4 are outputted to output lines set to turn-on output, output lines set to turn-off output, and output lines set to ineffective output respectively by the control.
