PURPOSE:To completely seal a connection part between both tanks, by using an adhesive agent composite, having at least solvent resistance and spot welding quality, as an adhesive agent interposed between each peripheral edge flange of the upper and lower tanks. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank main unit 1 comprises metallic upper and lower tanks 2 and 3, and their respective peripheral edges form flanges 4, 5 overlapping with each other. And an adhesive agent composite 6 is interposed stratifying between the both flanges 4, 5, further the both flanges 4, 5 are connected by spot welding parts 7 in a predetermined space. Here the adhesive agent composite 6 uses a material having at least solvent resistance and spot welding quality. The adhesive agent composite 6 is formed by dissolving, for instance, respectively specific pts.wt. dicyan diamide and scale-shaped graphite or the like to be mixed in 100pts.wt. rubber denatured epoxy resin of 200-220 epoxy equivalent.
