<p>PURPOSE:To completely purify sewage of every kind by using a metal or its salt as the catalyst for active humus itself, and making suspensible fine pieces stripped from massive zeolite or SS into sludge. CONSTITUTION:When low-concn. org. sewage such as domestic waste water and sewage contg. <=600ppm BOD is purified by a solid molded oxidizing agent, a metal such as iron powder or its salt is mixed into active humus powder as a catalyst, the oxidizing agent 3 molded in the form of a plate is inserted at the center of a case 4, and a zeolite mixture 5 of the large and small mordenite lumps are packed around the agent 3. The cases 4 are superposed on one another to provided a unit oxidation device. Aeration is carried out by a diffuser pipe. Consequently, the formed SS is moved onto the inclined bottom surface and then charged into a reduction device. The SS is gradually enlarged. The BOD and COD in the sewage are thus made into SS and a harmless and odorless gas.</p> |
