PURPOSE:To reduce operation or operating time by reserving one or plural kinds of prescribed selection signal patterns requiring a waiting time just after in response to a line connected to a terminal equipment in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile equipment 1 is connected to a prescribed communication line 12 via a NCU 9. An exchanger 12a is connected to the opposite side of the line 12. The NCU 9 switches the line 12 between the facsimile equipment 1 and a telephone set 13 to apply operation such as holding of a loop. A selection signal transmission section 8 generating a dial pulse or a dial tone is connected to the NCU 9 in response to the operation of the input means of an operation section 6. Further, a MODEM 10 is connected for the modulation/ demodulation for a signal such as a procedure signal or a picture signal except a selection signal. The operation of the entire equipment is controlled by a control section 3 such as a microcomputer.
