PURPOSE:To make the discharge length of steam constant by providing a sensor for detecting the ejection pressure of steam, and furnishing a means for fixing the discharge pressure of steam on the basis of the signal from the pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A boiler 9 having a heater 5 and a steam discharge port 17 is provided, and the pressure sensor 110 for detecting the ejection pressure of steam is furnished to form the steam generator. A pressure control means 100 for fixing the steam discharge pressure on the basis of the signal from the pressure sensor 110 is also provided. Consequently, even when the pressure of saturated steam in the boiler 9 is varied, the variation in the pressure is detected by the pressure sensor 110, and the steam discharge pressure is controlled and fixed by the pressure control means 100. Consequently, the discharge length of steam can be kept constant.
