摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make a wide variety of controls performable in an accurate manner, by making a zero position, staying in succession during a while a vehicle runs more than the specified distance, among zero positions situated at every rotation of a rotor rotating in linkage with steering wheel operation, judge as a rotation center position. CONSTITUTION:A rotational position sensor consists of a rotating disc 1 rotating in linkage with steering wheel operation and photointerrupters 2-4 set up in adjoining to a passing position of a slit 1a and a zero position detecting slit 1b installed in a peripheral edge of the said disc 1 at an equiangular interval. Each pulse signal out of these photointerrupters 2 and 3 is inputted into a counter 6 via an up/down electronic switch 5, while a zero position detecting signal is inputted into an AND gate 9 together with a distance signal. And, a position, staying in succession during a while a vehicle runs more than the specified distance, among zero positions set at every rotation of the rotating disc 1 is judged as a rotational center position, for example, each lighting direction of headlights is controlled by a lamp drive circuit 8.</p>
