PURPOSE:To operate data repeatedly in continuous cycles by providing a selector between a storage device and an arithmetic unit and selecting operation data of the preceding cycle or read data from the storage device to operate selected data. CONSTITUTION:When data is read out from a storage device 1, it is selected by a selector 5, and an arithmetic unit 3 uses this data to perform operation. Data indicating the operation result is written in the deice 1, and the similar data processing is performed. When the operation result of the unit 3 is used to perform operation again, data is read out from the device 1 at the timing of RD1 in the latter half of a cycle 1 and is selected by the selector 5 and is inputted. The unit 3 performs operation at the timing of OP1. If data to be operated at the timing of OP2 in a cycle 3 is the operation result at the timing of OP1, data read out from the device 1 is made ineffective, and the result operated at the timing of OP1 is inputted to the unit 3 at the timing of SELC. The unit 3 performs operation at the timing of OP2.
