PURPOSE:To give a measuring person no feeling of physical disorder originating from display switching by displaying an estimated value of bodily temperature when the difference between a measured value and the estimated value of bodily temperature decreases below constant temperature to be added. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 detects the bodily temperature under a tongue or an arm and its temperature signal is sent to a CPU 3 through an A/D converter 2 and stored as information in a memory 4. The CPU 3 adds the constant temperature to the measured temperature and the sum temperature is supplied to a display device 5. Further, the CPU 3 analyzes the measured temperature information to calculate the estimated value of the bodily temperature and also calculate the difference between the estimated value of the bodily temperature and measured value; when the difference value is less than the added constant temperature, a buzzer 6 is put in operation and the sum temperature is switched to display the estimated value of the bodily temperature.
