PURPOSE:To securely prevent adjacent inks from mixing with each other, by using a yarn having the property of repelling both of different-colored inks, in the longitudinal direction in weaving a borderline part. CONSTITUTION:A yarn coated with a material having the property of repelling inks and ordinarily used for impregnating a ribbon therewith, such as a fluoro oil and a silicone oil, followed by hardening the material, if required, to modify the properties of the surface of the yarn is used as a border warp to be woven into a fabric base at a borderline part. Alternatively, a fluorine-containing polymer yarn or other similar yarn which itself is spun from a material having the property of repelling inks is used as the border warp. With this arrangement, different oleophilic inks can be present on opposite sides of a borderline, or different hydrophilic inks can be present on the opposite sides of the borderline, or an oleophilic ink and a hydrophilic ink can be present on the opposite sides of the borderline.
