摘要 PURPOSE:To attain a device which has a large storage capacity and does not require two-dimensional driving, by providing a tracking actuator or the like which drives a movable optical system including an object lens and a mirror in the radial direction of an optical flexible disc one-dimensionally in accordance with a detected tracking error signal. CONSTITUTION:A tracking error signal 21b is inputted to a driver 22 to drive a driving means of a tracking actuator 30 including a movable optical system 20. A mirror 31 and an object lens 32 are joined into one body and are driven as the movable optical system to perform tracking control. Consequently, offset is not generated in the tracking error signal, and a good tracking control is attained. A focus error signal 21a is inputted to a driver 23 to drive a driving means of a focusing actuator 50 including a rod 51 which is brought into contact with an optical flexible disc 1. Thus, it is unnecessary that the object lens 32 is driven for focus control in the direction of the optical axis, and a high-precision constitution is attained.
