PURPOSE:To prevent a ribbon from being entangled during feeding thereof, by providing at least one of a pinch roller and a capstan roller with an ink ribbon guide which is oscillated with the center of rotation of the roller as a fulcrum. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon guide 16 extending in the feeding direction of an ink ribbon 10 and capable of being oscillated relative to a capstan roller 12 is fitted in a groove provided at a part of the capstan roller 12. Similarly, an ink ribbon guide 17 extending in the feeding direction of the ink ribbon 10 and capable of being freely oscillated is fitted to a rotary shaft 18 for a pinch roller 13. The guides 16, 17 serve as guides for feeding the ink ribbon 10, whereby the ink ribbon is stably fed, and can be favorably prevented from being entangled due to static electricity or the like.
