PURPOSE:To obtain a recording medium whose error rate is low and whose stamper can be used for a long period of time, by a method wherein a recording layer is provided on the stamper, over which a resin layer curing through a specific wave length is provided. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium on which a guide groove has been formed is obtained when a stamper 1 provided with the guide groove is pulled off after a resin layer 3 curing by a specific wave length has been cured by providing the resin layer 3 and a base 4 on a recording layer 2 provided on the stamper 1. Although a part of the recording layer adheres to the stamper 1 in this peeling-off process, as the part can be removed off when the same is washed an appropriate solvent, the stamper 1 can be used over and over again under a complete state.
