PURPOSE:To make it possible to line up screws in a row automatically by providing a stocker for storaging screws and washers, device for inserting screws into washers, robot for lining up the screws inserted into washers in a row on a pallet, and control device. CONSTITUTION:After being delivered to a reversing device 14 by means of a robot 13, a screw 5 is reversed so as to make the head face below. In the next step, a transferring device 18 is made to stop at the position of the slit 2a of a washer stocker 2, and an inserting device 40 is raised by a cylinder 26, and then the screw 5 is inserted into a spring washer 6. After the screw 5 is inserted into a plain washer 7 in the same manner, the locking made by a positioning unit is released resulting in the movement of the transferring device 18 to the upper position of the guide section 38 of a pallet 37. At this position, the screws 5 inserted into washes 6 and 7 by a robot 39 are lined up in a row on the pallet 37.
