PURPOSE:To separate and collect dust from air flow efficiently through a wet system, by positioning the saw tooth lower edge of a screen board hanging to halve the inside of an water storage tank in such a manner that said edge of the screen board can be slightly sunk below the water surface of cleaning water in the water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:When air flow is sucked forcibly by driving of a suction device 7 and passes through the space under the lower edge 3a' of a screen board 3a in the first water storage tank 2a, since the lower edge 3a' has the saw tooth form, cleaning water in the part II is strongly bubbled and large amounts of droplets, liquids films and bubbles are generated, air including dust is touched, stirred and mixed and the dust is separated from air flow by deposition. Thereafter, air flow moves in directions shown by an arrow 4b', along a screen board 3a, a guide board 4b and a screen board 3b and goes to the second water storage tank 2b. Action of the air flow in the second water storage tank 2b is similar to tank in the first water storage tank 2a and the remaining uncollected dust by the first water storage tank 2a is collected here and the efficiency of collecting dust is increased.
