PURPOSE:To enable any abnormal state to be found at an early stage by making the set value of a comparator variable by means of an operation mode and effective power in order to decide an abnormality detecting value of oscillation corresponding to the operating condition for detecting abnormality of oscillation constantly with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation detecting signal S1 of a detection sensor (a) mounted on an upper cover and a hydraulic pulsation detecting signal S2 of a detection sensor (b) mounted on a draft tube are compared in comparators 21, 22 respectively. Also, the hydraulic pulsation detecting signal S2 is input to a frequency analizing circuit 23 in order to compare a signal S3 output therefrom in a comparator 25. Among the above figures, the set value of the comparator 21 is calculated based upon an effective power detecting signal S8 from a detection sensor (c) and an operation mode signal S7 from a sequence device 27, in order to be made variable. And, the respective signals S1-S3 are compared by the comparators 21, 22, 25 respectively so that abnormal signals S4-S6 can be output.
