The combined clock/radio/telephone can be used in two different orientations, pref. the horizontal and vertical planes. It has a window (6) which is readable in the first orientation, and a second window (7) readable in the second position, both windows contg. representations of both the radio dial (9,10) and the clock displace unit (11,12). The two windows are fitted adjacent to one another with a common limiting edge (8), the radio dial (9,10) being located at that edge so that it extends into both windows where it is visible at will. The windows each contain a display unit (11,12) for the clock, and only the display unit nearest to the observer is activated dependent upon the orientation of the combined unit. A mercury current switch monitors the clock radio telephone orientation, and activates the appropriate clock display unit. The indicator (10) for the radio dial comprises one or more light diodes. |
