PURPOSE:To specify an escape angle to perform NC grinding of the outer periphery of a blade piece, by a method wherein the front edge of the blade piece is positioned by a stylus formed integrally with a grinding stone disc, and rotation is applied on a blade body so that a contact pressure point is moved on a line passing the center of the blade body. CONSTITUTION:When a contact pressure point (a) of a grinding stone disc D with a blade piece 1a is moved in the axial direction of a blade body 1, the blade body 1 is rotated counterclockwise around a dividing shaft 2 through the force of a spring 3. The front edge of the blade piece 1a is positioned by a stylus S formed integrally with the grinding stone disc D, and vibration of the contact pressure point (a) is corrected linearly, as shown by a', a', and a', on a radius line extending through a rotary center 2 of the blade body 1 by means of a stylus S'. Thus, the escape angle of a cutting edge, at which grinding is applied on the outer periphery of the blade piece 1a by NC control, is specified. |
