High strength spun lines sewing yarn is produced. by using a spinning technigue of core effect type within air jet spinning machine. Thus, a high density polyester filament yarn(strength, > 9.0g/d and density, > 1.38) and a low density polyester filament yarn(strength, 5.0+0.5g/d and density, < 1.30) are spun by using a air dexturing device equipped with a conical metal needle and are twisted to give sewing yarn.
