VARIABLE DELIVERY CONTROL TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the volumetric efficiency of a compressor by reciprocating a piston as a compression chamber in a cylinder bore is rotated to open and close a suction port without a suction valve. CONSTITUTION:The center of a housing 1 is provided with a driving shaft 2 to which a cylinder block 17 having plural cylinder bores 18 is fixed. Pistons 19 reciprocating in the cylinder bores 18 are actuated through connecting members by a supporting plate 21 which is connected to the driving shaft 2 through an uniform ball joint 22 to rotate as one body. The supporting plate 21 is inclined by a swash plate 27 whose inclination is controlled by a servomotor 38 from the outside of the housing 1. Thus, the cylinder bore 18 is made to periodically communicate with a suction chamber 9 with no suction valve on a cylinder head 16 according to the rotation of the cylinder block 17.
