PURPOSE:To prevent a gap from being generated at a junction caused by a shock force by providing a holding section and locking piece coupling with each other on a fitting leg, through which a bumper center and bumper side are fixed to a car body. CONSTITUTION:A rear bumper 3, for instance, of a car body 1 is constituted with a bumper center 5 fitted to the rear end of the car body 1 and a bumper side 7 arranged dividedly on the rear sides of the car body 1. Fitting legs 9, 11 of junctions of said center 5 and sides 7 are fastened together to the car body 1 through a bolt 13 and nut 15. A holding section 21 bent toward the car body 1 is formed at the upper corner section 19 of the fitting leg 9, and a bulged section 25 is formed at the upper corner section 23 of the fitting leg 11 and a locking piece 27 coupling with said holding section 21 is provided at its tip. Accordingly, a force F2 coping with a tension force F1 applied to said junction is generated by the locking piece 27, thus preventing a gap from being generated at the junction. |
