PURPOSE:To prevent such a trouble from occurring that a door can not be opened or closed on collision by forming a gap to secure the aperture of the door by means of the soft section at the tip of the bumper side section of a truck and the front end section of the door. CONSTITUTION:The bumper side section of a cab-over-engine truck is supported by a front pillar 1 through the hinge of a door 2 so that it can be opened or closed, and a certain gap 5 is formed so that the front end section 2a of the door 2 does not hit a car body outer plate, e.g., both end sections 3a of a front panel 3 and both end sections 4a of a radiator grill 4. In addition, the bumper side 6a of a bumper 6 formed with a hard material such as a metallic material and supported by a car body stiffened member such as a side member through a bumper stay is arranged on the bumper side section near the front end section 2a of the door 2. A buffer member 10 is fixed on the tip of the bumper side 6a through a clip 11, and a gap 5 is formed between the rear end section of the buffer member 10 and the front end section 2a of the door 2. |
