PURPOSE:To previously prevent the generation of off-track by fitting an elastic member for pressing magnetic heads fitted to respective gimbal plates in a direction vertical to the surface of a flexible disk and providing at least one of the elastic members with an off-track preventing means. CONSTITUTION:A lower slider 13 applied pressing force with a prescribed load to the lower magnetic head 7 by a press spring 14 and supports the lower gimbal plate 11 by its leading contacts 13a, 13b and an upper slider 19 supports the upper gimbal plate 17 by its leading contact 19a. Since the lower gimbal plate 11 supports the lower magnetic head 7 through the two gimbal plate contacts 13a, 13b, the lower head 7 is not rotated even if the flexible disk 25 is shifted at its position in the vertical direction, and the upper magnetic head 9 is also kept at the parallel state with the head 7 by the pressing force of the magnetic head 9 side. Thus, the generation of off-track can be previously prevented.
