New substituted amides of general formula I in which either R is phenyl substituted by dialkylamino or trifluoromethyl in the 4 position and R' is 4-fluorophenyl or 4-alkoxyphenyl, or R is phenyl and R' is phenyl substituted by Cl in the 2 or 4 position, by Br in the 3 or 4 position, by 2 chlorine or bromine atoms in the 3 and 4 positions or by alkyloxy in the 4 position, or R is 3-halophenyl and R' is phenyl substituted by F or Br in the 3 or 4 position, by Cl in the 4 position or by 2 fluorine, chlorine or bromine atoms, or by alkyloxy in the 2 or 3 position or alkyl in the 3 position, or R is anilino and R' is 3-bromophenyl, the alkyl radicals being straight or branched and containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, their preparation and the medicaments which contain them. The new amides are useful as immunostimulating agents. <IMAGE>
