PURPOSE:To charge each capacity by a necessary quantity and excellently perform fixation, and to speed up the fixation by making plural flash lamps different in light emission time from one another for a fixing method which uses the plural flash lamps. CONSTITUTION:Two flash lamps L3 and L4 are arranged successively in the moving direction of recording paper P above the passage of recording paper P at the fixation part of a copying machine (or printer, etc.). Then, the flash lamps L3 and L4 have reflectors M1 and M2 arranged at their side and rear parts and supply flash light to ranges which are divided nearly by two front and rear parts of recording paper P about the passage of the recording paper P. The recording paper falls down a microswitch MS1 and then the switch MS1 is turned on associatively to charge a capacitor C3 and a switch MS3 operates when the recording paper moves forth by l. The switches MS3 and MS2 operate almost at the same time and a capacitor C4 begins to be charged through switches MS2 and S2 and charged until the switch MS4 operates. Then, the same operation is repeated even when recording paper is sent continuously. |
