The invention relates to devices making it possible to assemble two to eight rods which are orthogonal, parallel or at any angle. This device consists of two identical flanges (in the shape of a plate) mounted opposite one another and comprising a square or otherwise passage hole for the first rod, and of one to four bosses each passed through by a threaded element for locking all the rods. The rods are locked either by elastic deformation of the plates and displacements of the ends of the bosses towards the central rod (for orthogonal and parallel rods) or by the bosses passing through the (previously pierced) rods and by moving the plates together with the aid of the threaded elements for rods which are not orthogonal and are not parallel but are in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the first rod. The invention finds applications in the construction of fitted structures, scaffolding structures, shelving structures, storage structures and also for furniture, greenhouses, games, etc. <IMAGE>
