PURPOSE:To enable safe vehicle control and safe trouble processing, by connecting and setting terminal computers respectively corresponding to a plurality of control objects to a data bus. CONSTITUTION:For example, terminal computers 11-15 are set so as to respectively correspond to an electronical engine control system, a transmission control system, a brake control system, an automatic drive control system and a suspension control system. Detection signals from the sensors corresponding to respective control systems are respectively inputted to the corresponding control terminal computers 11-15. The terminal computers 11-15 are connected and set to a common data bus 16 which is, in turn, connected to diagnostic computer 17 performing synthetic diagnostic operation. Further, the computer 17 is equipped with a large capacity memory 18 and connected to an external data processing computer 19. By this method, the diagnostic data or operation state data from the terminal computers are collectively controlled by the computer 17 and a safe vehicle control is enabled. |
