PURPOSE:A dentifrice agent, obtained by heat-treating a salted and dried eggapple within a specific temperature range and providing a color of powder thereof specified in the Japanese Industrial Standards, effective for odontocele, toothache, etc., and having good fragrance. CONSTITUTION:A dentifrice agent of an eggapple, obtained by cutting a salted eggapple to a suitable size, drying the cut eggapple to give >=30% moisture content by drying, e.g. drying in the sun or while heating with hot air, etc., and further heat-treating the dried eggapple at a temperature within the range of 120-500 deg.C and characterized by the color of powder thereof specified in the Japanese Industrial Standards JIS Z8721 'Specification of color indication according to their three attributes' and JIS 28723 'method for comparison of surface color; as follows; (1) hue is within the range of YR (10R-10YR); (2) lightness is 3.01-5.01 within the respective hue ranges thereof and (3) satura tion is within the ranges described in (1) and (2) and within the range of 12.0-14.0. |
