EXAMPLE:3-(2,4-Dichloro-5-methylthiomethoxyphenyl)-5-tert-buty-l-1,3,4 -oxadiazol- 2(3H)-one. USE:A herbicide. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by the conden sation reaction of the compound of formula II with the compound of formula III (M is alkali metal) in a solvent such as ether at 0-100 deg.C.
