<p>PURPOSE:To lower the concentration of sulpher particles in a circulating liq. and to prevent a choke of a process line and to secure a smooth operation, by providing a foam separator locating under the liq. level of absorbing liq. in a regenerating tower in order to withdraw a foam layer. CONSTITUTION:In a regenerating tower 11 on a gas refining line; a foam separator 12, whch is connected with a regenerating-liq. circulating line 4, 13 and 14 is provided under the liq. level, at a fixed interval from the level, in order to separate and to float the foam of absorbing liq., supplied from the lower part of the tower 11. The foam layer is withdrawn from the opening of a withdraw pipe 15 located at the liq. level in the tower 11; and the liq. is defoamed through a defoamer 16. Hereupon, by branching the line 14 from the regenerating-liq. circulating line 13; the regenerating liq. is sprayed over the liq. surface in the tower 11 from a spray pipe 14' to such away the foam on the liq. surface. The liq. from the deformer 16 is returned through a slurry tank 18, line 21 and 23 to the tower 11. Besides, the line 23 branched from the line 21 is connected to a centrifugal separator 24 to separate sulpher cake 28.</p> |
