PURPOSE:To provide the titled low-cost composition of high fluidity and good stability, capable of direct combustion, comprising carbonaceous solid powder a dispersant made up of specific water-soluble copolymer, stabilizing agent and water. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) carbonaceous solid powder such as coal, oil coke or petroleum-based pitch, (B) a dispersant made up of a water-soluble copolymer from monomer system containing >=50mol% of (i) a polyalkylene glycol monomethacrylate monomer of formula I (X is 2-4C alkylene, n is 1-100 on average; Y is H, 1-5C alkyl, etc.) plus, (ii) a sulfoalkyl methacrylate monomer of formula II [Z is 1-4C alkylene; M is H, alkali (alkaline earth) metal,etc.] in a molar ratio (i)/(ii) of 1/5-1/500, (C) at least are kind of stabilizing agent selected from alkali metal salts of CMC, hydroxyethyl cellulose and sodium polyacrylate, and (D) water.
