PURPOSE:To package manufactured cathode ray tubes grouped into tube types by installing a rotary table whereon different types of packaging materials are placed, and by controlling the table so that it stops in the position to suit the cathode ray tube currently to be packaged. CONSTITUTION:Each cathode ray tube 10 manufactured is provided with information about tube type and destination and placed on a pallet 11 to be transported by a belt conveyor 12, whereabout a bar code reader 13 reads the said information, which is supplied to system controllers 100, 200 of palletizing cells A, B. On the basis of this information, the cathode ray tubes 10 are sent to receipt positions STa, STb selectively. A lifter 125 will, on the other hand, lifts different types of packaging material 151 up to the holding position, where a holder 122 holds the materials 151, which are placed on the body of rotary table 121 one after another. The stop position of this table body 121 rotating is controlled on the basis of said information. Cathode ray tubes 10 in the receipt position STa are pelletized to the lump packaging materials 151 with a palletization pattern specified by a robot 110.
