PURPOSE:To attain the high speed drive by providing the 2nd semiconductor switching element giving a current from a current source as a control signal of a semiconductor switching element in response to the 1st control pulse. CONSTITUTION:When a V2 pulse signal (2nd control pulse) is inputted to the 2nd input terminal S2 at a time t0, a transistor (TR) Q1 is conductive, and when a V1 pulse signal (1st control pulse) is inputted to the 1st control pulse is inputted to the 1st control terminal S1 at a time t1, a switching TR Q2 is cut off, the collector potential of the TR Q2 goes to H and the base potential of a switching TR Q3 goes to H and a light emitting diode LD is lighted. When the pulse V1 goes from L to H at a time t2, the TR Q2 is conductive, the base potential of the TR Q3 goes from H to L, the TR Q3 is cut off and the light emitting diode LD goes off. Thus, the operation of the light emitting diode drive circuit is quickened.
