PURPOSE:To replenish a processing liquid smoothly to the end without being affected by the shape and material of a supply tank by forming a partial notched part to the suction-side end part of a suction pipe. CONSTITUTION:When the processing liquid is replenished to an automatic developing device, a supply pump 25 is driven and then the processing liquid in the supply tank 22 is supplied to a circulation pipe 16 through the suction pipe 21 and supplied from the circulation pipe 16 to a developer tank 8. The processing liquid which overflows as a result of said replenishment is discharged to a waste liquid tank 131 through an overflow pipe 12. Even if a suction force is generated in the suction pipe 21 by the replenishment of the processing liquid and its tip part 21a is not sucked by contacting the internal wall of the supply tank 22, the tip part does not contact the internal wall because of the cut part 26, so the processing liquid is supplied smoothly. Consequently, the processing liquid is sucked by a prescribed amount to the end without being affected by the shape and material of the supply tank 22.
