PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance as well as the magnetic characteristics such as the permeability and saturation magnetic flux density by nitriding an alloy contg. specified amounts of C, Si and Al, Cr, V, Mo or the like. CONSTITUTION:This soft magnetic material has an alloy composition consisting of <=0.1% C, <=10% Si, 0.1-5% in total of one or more among 0.1-3% Al, 0.1-3% Cr, 0.1-2% V, 0.1-2% Mo, 0.1-3% Mn, 0.1-3% Ti and 0.1-5% Ni and the balance Fe. The material is nitrided and used. |
