PURPOSE:To provide stable transport with no deviation even when different widths are used by installing guide plates for guide of the transport widths at the sides of inlet and outlet of a sheets accommodation part, wherein the guide plate is movable so that the width direction is adjusted, and by controlling the sheets to shift toward the center of accommodation width. CONSTITUTION:When banknotes 13 with a smaller width are introduced, an eccentric shaft 27 is rotated once a single turn at the inlet of a pool 11, and in linkage therewith a slide pin 31 heaves an inclined recess 33 formed in each guide plate 32. Thereby guide plates 32, 32 on both sides are synchronously width shifted inwards. Thus banknotes 13 with small width are automatically width shifted to be located accurately in the specified position in the center and accommodated there. Accordingly, even in case sending-off is made from the pool 11 once, they are sent off from said specified position in the center and transported surely to the identification position in an identifying device as subsequent process. This should eliminate deviated or skewed feeding to ensure avoidance of erroneous collective action due to misplacement in the identifying part.
