PURPOSE:To continuously discharge a powder from a rotary dryer, by constituting the title apparatus of specific first and second discharge tanks, an intermediate tank, a discharge conveyor, a feed-out conveyor, first - fourth discharge lines and first and second gas lead-out lines. CONSTITUTION:The stock material supplied in a kiln main body is baked with steam and the baked material is discharged to a first discharge tank 51A by a discharge screw conveyor 71. Opening and closing valves 86A, 92 are opened and the gas in the first discharge tank 51A is exhausted through the filter 59 in an intermediate tank 58 to perform primary pressure falling. Further, an opening and closing valve 88A is opened and secondary pressure falling is performed to finish a pressure falling process. Next, an opening and closing valve 81a is opened and a take-out screw blade 57A is rotated to discharge the baked material to a feed-out conveyor 76. After the finish of discharge, the take-out screw blade 57A is stopped and the opening and closing valve 81A is closed. Thereafter, the pressure in the first discharge tank 51A is again raised and, at the time of the rising in pressure, the baked material is discharged to the feed-out conveyor 76 from a second discharge tank 51B falling in pressure by similar procedure. |
