<p>Hexasubstituted cyclokexane compounds have the formula (I), in which Z1 is -CO-X1-, -X1-CO-, -CH¿2?-X?2-, -X2-CH¿2- or -CH2- or - CH2-CH2-, Z2 has one of the meanings of Z1 or is a simple bond, Z?3 is -X1¿-CO- or -X2-CH2- X1 is O, S or Se, X2 is O, S, Se, SO or SO¿2?, A?1, A2 and A3¿ are 6 membered homocycles or heterocycles P is 0 or 1, R?1 and R2¿ are independently alkyl, H, F, Cl, Br, J, OH, NH¿2?, COOH or CN, whereas no two heteroatoms are directly interconnected, m is 1, 2 or 3, and (n+m) is 6. These compounds are useful as components of disk-like liquid crystal phases.</p> |
