<p>A skid vehicle for ice surfaces has at least two sliding skids and one driving wheel mounted in a frame. The axis of the driving wheel has a variable height and is biased by a spring. The driving wheel is driven or braked by a chain or similar power transmission mechanism. In order to avoid the undesirable and braking effect of the driving wheel during actual sliding, the spring applies a lifting force on the driving wheel and the power transmission acts against the force applied by the spring and lowers the driving wheel.</p> |
