<p>The disclosed burner is particularly intended to the heating or preheating through lower orifices provided in housings containing solidified material susceptible of melting during heating, and it comprises a head (21) provided with channels (22, 23) for the supply of oxidant mixture, and is characterized in that it comprises on the one hand a protection hood (30) including cooling means (34) and on the other hand distribution means (26, 27, 28) for a circular jet of ventilated air or neutral gas under pressure covering all the surfaces of the hood (30) in order to granulate the molten material falling on said hood.</p> |
