PURPOSE:To provide a planographic printing plate constituted so as to generate no contamination is a non-image part at the time of printing, by using a support for the planographic printing plate formed by providing a layer of microcapsules each containing a substance comprising an adhesive on the anodic oxidation film of an aluminum plate. CONSTITUTION:As each of microcapsules, one having strength such that the wall film thereof is collapsed by mechanical pressure at the time of photoengraving or printing or one of which the wall film is collapsed or reduced in its strength by light irradiation, especially, light irradiation at the time of imagewise exposure is pref. Microcapsules are mixed with a proper solvent, for example, water or alcohol such as methanol at concn. of 0.01-5wt% and applied in a pref. coating amount of 0.5-2g/m<2> on a dry coating amount basis. If the coating amount becomes more than 2g/m<2>, an intermediate layer itself becomes easy to release and the close adhesive strength thereof becomes inferior. A photosensitive layer known heretofore is provided to thus obtained support for a planographic printing plate as the photosensitive layer of a PS plate to make it possible to obtain a photosensitive planographic printing plate. |
