PURPOSE:To make a circular ring part of a target and a side plate contact with each other at a broad area, by installing the M-shaped sectional circular ring part where the target connects a pair of target piece materials together, having a recessed V-groove in the outward direction, and letting a pair of side plates connect each other in holding the M shaped section of the circular ring part in between from the side direction. CONSTITUTION:A disc-form rotating anode 11 is locked to a turning shaft 12 and rotatable by rotation of this turning shaft 12, and on an outer circumference of this anode 11, there is provided with a target 13 consisting of a proper metallic material. An outer circumference 13a of the target 13 is formed in an M-shaped sectional ring form where a pair of electron beam irradiated surfaces are opposed in V-form, and a pair of target piece materials 14a and 14b are connected to each other and constituted, while each of these target piece materials 14a and 14b is formed into dished disc form, and the projecting surfaces themselves are opposed and connected together. With this constitution, a contact area is remarkably enlarged, and a part of internal pressure to be produced at the time of application acts on a rectangular direction to the contact part.
