The process consists of (a) extracting a side stream of liquid from the middle zone of the column; (b) dividing thus into a product stream and another stream; (c) dissolving in stream halides, sulphates, nitrates, carbonates, acetates or other salts of alkali metals, alkaline earths or transition elements in amount of 7-300 g/l. from metering equipments in stirred tank; and (d) returning this stream to the column at between the feed and extraction zones.
